Tasha Nathan
After teaching in Boston for the last decade, Tasha moved to the North Shore in 2025 to be closer to her hometown of Exeter, NH. Movement has been a constant throughout her life—she began dancing at age two and later turned to yoga and Pilates during her teen years and college to support her dance career. In 2015, she discovered barre and immediately felt a deep connection to the practice. Beyond the physical challenge, barre offered her a sense of clarity and grounding that carried her through life’s many shifts.
Inspired by its impact, Tasha earned her barre certification in 2016 through Barre Soul Academy, completed her Yoga RYT-200 with David Vendetti and Todd Skoglund in 2018, and holds a classical mat Pilates certificate under Clare Dunphy Hemani. She is currently pursuing her comprehensive Pilates certification through Pilates Academy International. Additionally, she is certified in Yoga for Lymphatic Flow with Barbara Jackson Tobin.
Tasha believes wholeheartedly in movement as medicine, in the power of community, in the reflection music elicits, and the connection between mind and body. These pillars of her teaching philosophy were further strengthened in 2022, when she underwent treatment for Rhabdomyosarcoma, a rare soft tissue cancer. The foundations she had cultivated through years of dedicated movement practice are what she believes carried her through treatment and supported her recovery.
In every class, Tasha strives to create a safe, supportive space where students can build strength, deepen self-awareness, and find grounding that extends to life off the mat. It is her greatest joy to guide you through movement on your mat so you can move through and within your life to your fullest ability.
