Yoga doesn’t ask you to make a trade- it can be graceful and powerful, quiet and strong, joyful and grounded. And Meghan loves that about yoga.
Meghan found yoga during a difficult time in her own life. Thanks to her thoughtful teachers, the practice quickly stole her heart. She began to feel more at home in her skin and continues to build on that feeling every day. Meghan believes yoga should be accessible, approachable, supportive and judgement free. Yoga can be a resource for laughter, silliness, stillness and calm- and her classes are all of those things!
A physical therapist by training, Meghan combines her knowledge of the human body with her understanding of the human experience every time she steps on the mat. There’s nothing she’d rather teach.
Meghan became a certified yoga instructor in 2015 with Adena Muncey, a therapeutic and restorative yoga instructor with Jillian Pransky in 2016 and studies deeply with Hala Khouri. Meghan is a founding member for The Center for Yoga and Trauma Recovery in Oakland, CA and is an Off the Mat into the World graduate. Her book, First Light was published in April 2023.
Meghan lives in Hampton Falls with her three young boys, husband and dog Oona. She loves a good breakfast waffle and lavender scented anything.
